Help! Supplies are needed to help Naperville school children have what they need when they return to school this month. Collection points include Naperville Park District facilities, DuPage Children’s Museum and various points around town. See below for needed items.

 

Courtesy of our friends at The Naperville Park District, there is a series of free concerts available this summer. The shows will be held on Sunday evenings at various parks throughout the city. So, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and family and friends for a free Sunday concert at a park near you.

 

It’s story time this summer in Naperville! The Naperville Public Library has several different Storytime programs available through the end of the first week in August. Times and locations are shown below:

On Friday, July 14th, 2011 @ 7:00 pm, the Midsummer Theatre Troupe will present Love Labour’s Lost. The play is considered one of William Shakespeare’s early comedies. The play opens with the King of Navarre and three noble companions

 

Veterans of this annual 4th of July weekned fest know that parking is always a challenge. Remote parking and shuttle services are available throughout Naperville and are probably your best bet. So here are the particulars to help you get to and from:

 

The Naperville Jazz Festival happens tonight, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Community Concert Center at Central Park in downtown Naperville. Sponsored by Calamos Investments, the gates will open at 4:00 p.m.

 

One of them, the Naperville Chargers, are part of the Pop Warner youth football and cheerleading organization. They compete in the Chicagoland Pop Warner Football Conference.

 

All three Farmers Markets are now open in Naperville. The varying days and hours for each are shown below.
